Miranda began playing harp at age eight. Training at Manhattan School of Music Pre-College from the beginning of her studies, Miranda was immersed in music and orchestral studies at a tender age. At age thirteen Miranda debuted at Lincoln Center with the Westchester Conservatory of Music Mentor's Orchestra. Miranda continued her harp studies as principal harpist of Swarthmore College Orchestra and a member of the Fetter Chamber Ensemble. She has studied harp for sixteen years.
In 2004, Miranda began playing harp professionally at special events and weddings. She continues to play professionally as well as compose original music for harp and voice.
